My name is LaToya. I'm a makeup artist and hair stylist based in the Upstate, NY but work in the tri-state area. I spend a lot of time working on sets for models and photographers and along side other makeup artists, hair stylists, and wardrobe stylists as well as doing everyday makeup, hair services, bridal makeup, and special events. I have over 3 years makeup experience and years more of hair experience. I am a self taught mua but I still take classes from time to time to stay fresh in the game. I take great pride in making people look and feel beautiful, and being the trusted person that a woman hires on the most special day of her life, or when she needs a new do or a day of beauty.
I started doing hair when I was only 12 years old, taking comsetology classes in middle school learning finger waves, coloring, cuts and more. I contuniue to learn new methods to my hair madness and love doing everything esp; coloring. I added makeup to my experience when I was 16 when I would play around and do makeup on my friends and family to "beautify" them and put a smile on there face. I later took it more seriously by attending makeup classes in Syracuse and took up brushes professionaly in 07' when me and my brushes never parted ever since. Since then I have been freelancing, working for brides, photographers, models; playhouses for theater work, you name it, and it involves makeup or hair, I'll do it.
Isis Makeup and Hair Studio is a mobile studio that offers makeup and hair services at affordable rates here in Syracuse, NY in my home studio but also offers you the same rates in the comfort of your own home in cities such as: Rochester, Buffalo, Albany, New York City (all 5 boroughs) along with NJ, PA, and CT. Since I am mobile I can come to you in your home, hotel, or even place of venue to provide you a stress free environment while giving you a relaxing experience while still giving you a day of beauty.
